What you'll do:
As a Technical Manager based in Binh Duong, you will play an integral part in shaping the future of product development within the furniture sector. - Lead the costing process for both new and existing products by analysing material costs, labour expenses, manufacturing overheads, and developing detailed cost breakdowns throughout the development phase.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction without compromising on quality or functionality by working closely with sourcing and procurement teams to obtain accurate material pricing and subcontracting rates.
- Manage the creation and maintenance of comprehensive technical drawings and specifications using CAD software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry standards.
- Develop and maintain precise Bills of Materials (BOMs) for all products by coordinating with engineering, production, and purchasing teams to ensure alignment and up-to-date information.
- Oversee packaging development by creating detailed packaging specifications that meet product requirements, branding guidelines, shipping regulations, and sustainability goals.
- Identify and resolve technical issues during both development and production phases by providing guidance, implementing corrective actions, and supporting other teams as needed.
- Maintain organised technical documentation including drawings, BOMs, specifications, sample records, as well as preparing technical reports and presentations when required.
- Drive process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency through routing reduction, material savings, standard cost reduction while fostering effective collaboration across cross-functional teams.

- A thorough understanding of manufacturing processes along with deep knowledge of various materials used within the furniture industry is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks is required for creating accurate technical drawings that meet industry standards.
