  • Benefit from flexible working opportunities, generous pension contributions, and ongoing training designed to support your career development within a collaborative environment.
  • Work alongside a dependable and inclusive team dedicated to technical excellence, continuous improvement, and the successful implementation of innovative engineering solutions.

What you'll do:

As a Product Engineering Manager based in Dong Nai, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of LED lighting equipment and electronic component manufacturing. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve guiding a talented engineering team through complex challenges related to process design, optimisation, and documentation. You will be instrumental in monitoring production data to drive improvements that enhance both efficiency and product quality. By coordinating new product launches and managing engineering changes effectively, you will ensure smooth transitions from development stages to full-scale manufacturing. Your expertise will also be crucial in maintaining high standards for equipment reliability while fostering compliance with industry regulations. Through your leadership in root cause analysis and preventive action planning, you will help create a culture of continuous improvement. Additionally, your commitment to supporting cost reduction projects will contribute significantly to the organisation’s long-term success.

  • Guide and manage the engineering department by developing team capabilities, assigning tasks thoughtfully, and ensuring all engineering objectives are aligned with company strategy as well as production requirements.
  • Oversee product design activities, process setup initiatives, and technical documentation management to guarantee accuracy, standardisation, and timely updates reflecting production changes.
  • Monitor production processes closely by analysing data to identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies, then lead corrective actions that foster continuous improvement across operations.
  • Coordinate new product introduction projects and engineering change management efforts by collaborating with production teams to ensure seamless transitions from prototype development to mass manufacturing.
  • Control and maintain all production equipment and technical systems by ensuring machines, tools, and jigs are properly serviced, calibrated, and enhanced to meet operational standards.
  • Lead root cause analysis for any technical issues by working with cross-functional teams to investigate failures in products or processes, identify underlying causes, and implement effective preventive measures.
  • Ensure strict compliance with technical standards as well as safety and environmental regulations by developing robust engineering procedures that align with ISO, CE, and other relevant benchmarks.
  • Support cost reduction initiatives along with productivity improvement projects by championing technical innovations that reduce material waste, improve yield rates, and advance automation within production lines.

What you bring:

To excel as a Product Engineering Manager in this dynamic manufacturing setting, you will bring proven experience from similar roles where you have demonstrated deep knowledge of electrical or electronics engineering principles. Your background should include hands-on involvement with LED technology applications as well as SMT assembly processes. You are adept at interpreting complex technical drawings while managing detailed process documentation efficiently. Your interpersonal skills enable you to nurture talent within your team through collaborative task assignment aligned with broader organisational strategies. Analytical thinking comes naturally to you when identifying areas for improvement or troubleshooting issues alongside colleagues from various departments. You have successfully led root cause investigations before—implementing robust solutions that prevent recurrence—and are familiar with regulatory frameworks governing safety or environmental compliance. Your history includes driving cost-saving projects using innovative approaches that benefit both productivity rates and resource utilisation. Fluency in English ensures you can communicate clearly across international teams while preparing accurate reports.

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related technical fields is required for this position.
  • At least five years of experience working within a manufacturing environment is essential; three years must be spent in managerial or supervisory roles overseeing engineering functions.
  • Comprehensive understanding of LED technology including SMT (Surface Mount Technology), assembly processes for electronic components, and advanced product design principles is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in reading technical drawings as well as managing bills of materials (BOM) and process documentation is necessary for success in this role.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop team capability through supportive leadership while assigning tasks collaboratively according to strategic goals.
  • Excellent analytical thinking skills combined with strong communication abilities are vital for problem-solving within cross-functional teams.
  • Experience conducting root cause analysis for technical issues along with implementing preventive measures is expected.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards (such as ISO 9001), CE certification requirements, safety protocols, and environmental regulations relevant to manufacturing operations is important.
  • Proven track record of supporting cost reduction initiatives through technical innovation aimed at reducing material waste or improving automation levels is advantageous.
  • English proficiency sufficient for clear technical communication and reporting is required.
