CEO (Cambodia based)

An exciting CEO job has become available at one of the leading international schools, based in Cambodia. Reporting directly to BOD, this is the role for the person who is a leader in their field.

About the CEO Role:

In this business critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring that the school’s academic programs and operations are successful and are improving the school brand/academic outcome/utilisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with BODs and key management to develop strategic plans and goals and drive the school to achieve such financial and operational targets to become the leading international school in Cambodia
• Lead the new campuses expansion plan and execution including ramping up utilisation/ enrolment
• Oversee and grow income streams and provide direction for maintaining and developing new income streams and improving profitability
• Implement and instill best practices in education, instructional programs, and school operations – drive systematic monitoring and improvement of relevant operational KPIs
• Ensure cross functional collaboration is effective. Recruit, manage, evaluate, provide thought leadership to, and inspire the leadership team. Talent management of both academic and non-academic staff
• Execute sound performance management to ensure student achievement gains are being realised by instilling best in class learning environment and achieving target academic outcomes
• Develop academic goals and performance benchmarks to continue improving students achievement and track record
• Preserve and promote the vision, mission, core values, and culture of the school
• Oversee all organisational operations including budgeting, accounting, human resources, contract management, facilities, and compliance

To succeed in this role, you must have good communication skills in English.

Key Requirements:

• More than five years of experience in similar roles
• Proven success of project management, business development
• Commercial mindset, strategic thinking
• Good people-management skills, customer satisfaction skill
• P&L and operational leadership
