An exciting job opportunity of a Country Manager for a new PropTech company has arisen in Ho Chi Minh City.
About the Country Manager Role:
As the Country Manager for Vietnam, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and scaling our presence in the Vietnamese real estate market. You will be responsible for setting up the market entry strategy, building a high-performing team, and driving the growth of our supply side operations, followed by demand generation activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct in-depth market research to understand the Vietnamese real estate landscape, competitors, and customer behaviour
Develop a comprehensive market entry strategy including market segmentation, pricing strategy, and distribution channels
Identify strategic partnerships and collaborations to enhance market penetration
Recruit, train, and manage a talented team of professionals, including sales, operations, and marketing, to execute the market entry strategy
Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the team to ensure they meet and exceed performance targets
Build and maintain relationships with property owners, real estate developers, and other stakeholders to secure a robust supply of properties on our platform
Develop and implement effective property acquisition strategies
Ensure the quality and accuracy of property listings on our platform
Collaborate with marketing teams to create and execute demand generation campaigns to attract homebuyers and renters to the platform.
Analyse market trends and customer feedback to continually optimise marketing strategies
Manage the budget for the Vietnam market, ensuring cost-effective operations and revenue growth
Monitor financial performance and provide regular reports to the company's leadership
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations governing the real estate and technology sectors in Vietnam
Stay up-to-date with changes in regulations and adapt company practices accordingly
To succeed in the role, you should have a strong understanding about Proptech and business development.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus
Proven track record in senior management roles within the real estate, technology, or PropTech industry
Strong understanding of the Vietnamese real estate market
Exceptional leadership and team-building skills
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, startup environment
Fluency in both English and Vietnamese is highly preferred
