About the Operations Director Role:

Report to Group COO, as the Operations Director, you will be responsible for strategic planning, overseeing clinic operations, and implementing improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the business turnaround project for the clinics, including strategic planning, overseeing operations, and troubleshooting
• Provide support for new clinic development projects, participating in medical, financial, and operational planning
• Collaborate with the market department to analyse the market, identify potential opportunities for new services and technologies
• Evaluate cooperation opportunities to explore market development possibilities for new services and technologies.
• Implement plans aligned with the overall strategy of the organisation and clinics, gaining approval from the relevant authorities
• Analyse processes, methods, and practices to introduce necessary changes aimed at improving patient experience
• Prioritise and support continuous improvement projects, fostering creativity and innovation
• Collaborate with Clinical, Nursing, and IT departments to incorporate external innovations into our operations
• Propose a care model that aligns with the Operational Excellence strategy, defining roles in delivering a patient-centric experience
• Gather feedback from patients to improve service quality and care processes
• Develop and publish patient experience indicators, including activity index and targets
• Ensure compliance with labour rules, regulations, and procedures of the clinics
• Participate in capacity improvement projects across the organisation in collaboration with other departments and divisions

To succeed in this role, you must have good communication skills in English.

Key Requirements:

• Prior experience in a medical corporation, hospital, or clinic is required
• Minimum eight -10 years of experience in hospital management or business administration, with at least five years in business management areas or as Head of Operations in a large organisation
• Understanding of multicultural organisations and relationships between different functions
• Knowledge of hospital management, operations, and legal regulations related to hospital operations
• Familiarity with medical examination and treatment procedures at hospitals
• Experience in international hospital/healthcare accreditation
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving abilities
• Strategic thinking with a focus on transforming business outcomes
• Proficient in English (speaking and writing) and Vietnamese communication and presentation skills
• MBA or equivalent
