The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies that align with the organisation's strategic vision, fostering a culture of customer-centric approach, and ensuring operational efficiency.

What you'll do:

As a Sales Manager for Capital Equipment, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our client's business. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the Medical Equipment Sales Department, overseeing all sales-related functions and activities. You will provide leadership, direction, and resources to ensure that the department achieves its goals. Your excellent interpersonal skills will be crucial in establishing and maintaining customer networks, while your strategic thinking will guide the development of sales strategies that contribute to the organisation's vision. You will also work closely with the Head of Revenue Funnel Management to align planning, forecasting, and budgeting initiatives with business objectives.

  • Develop and implement sales strategy and operating plans
  • Foster a culture of sales excellence and ‘customer centric’ approach throughout the sales team
  • Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales budget
  • Analyse key markets, vertical segments and sales performance to ensure deployment strategy maximises revenue opportunities
  • Develop and direct new opportunities within existing and new accounts
  • Collaborate with Head of Revenue Funnel Management to align planning, forecasting and budgeting initiatives with business objectives

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Sales Manager position brings a wealth of experience in managing teams within the healthcare industry. With at least 5 years of experience in a managerial role, you have demonstrated your ability to address challenges proactively and deliver optimal results. Your excellent relationship-building skills have enabled you to influence and negotiate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. In addition to your strong communication skills, you possess good knowledge of the medical equipment industry which will be instrumental in driving business growth.

  • Recognised Degree in Biomedical, Business, Marketing or related fields
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a managerial role, preferably in the healthcare industry
  • Excellent relationship building, influence and negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent oral, written and inter-personal communications skills
  • Good knowledge in the medical equipment industry
