Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join their team in Ho Chi Minh City. This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive HR support, including headcount budgeting & planning, employee lifecycle management, and talent development.

You will be instrumental in fostering employee engagement and ensuring compliance with local labour laws and regulations. Collaborating with regional business stakeholders and the Centre of Excellence (CoE), you will play a key role in fulfilling various tasks and initiatives.

What you'll do:

As a Human Resources Business Partner, your role will be pivotal in providing comprehensive HR support to agency employees. Your expertise will be crucial in managing headcount budgeting & planning, employee lifecycle management, employee engagement & relations, as well as talent development & management. You will work closely with Regional Business Stakeholders for task fulfilment. Your proactive approach will be key in identifying and resolving HR/People issues to achieve business goals. You will also have a hands-on role in executing employment contracts, training, payroll, benefits, and P-file management.

  • Provide day-to-day HR operations and support execution of HR strategy aligned with the business strategy
  • Develop and implement HR initiatives in collaboration with stakeholders to support the organization's objectives
  • Identify and resolve HR/People issues proactively to achieve business goals
  • Manage annual headcount & payroll cost budgeting, budget spend management, and governance in accordance with business requirements
  • Pursue continuous improvement on employee engagement through local activities and actions
  • Identify training needs of local employees and develop them in partnership with business stakeholders and other HR colleagues regionally
  • Participate in the annual performance development process and facilitate timely calibration & distribution
  • Handle talent management responsibilities such as employee transfer, promotion, performance management, and organizational development
  • Execute employment contract, training, payroll and benefits, and P-file management hands-on
  • Review and update local HR policies/processes consistently to ensure internal and external compliance with local laws and regulations

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Human Resources Business Partner role brings a wealth of experience in HR Business Partnering or as an HR generalist. With a minimum of 8-10 years in the field, you are well-versed in local labour laws & regulations. Your fluency in both Vietnamese and English will be crucial as you will be dealing with local authorities and working in an internationally diverse workplace. Your strong communication skills and stakeholder management abilities will be key to your success in this role.

  • Bachelor’s degree from Human Resource / Business Administration or related discipline
  • Minimum 8-10 years of HR Business Partnering / HR generalist experience
  • Fluency in both Vietnamese and English for dealing with local authorities and working in an internationally diverse workplace
  • Strong knowledge of local labour laws & regulations
  • Good writing skills, interpersonal skills, problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills and stakeholder management skills
