What you'll do:

As an HR Project Manager based in Ho Chi Minh City, you will be entrusted with leading a variety of strategic projects designed to elevate the employee experience and strengthen organisational capabilities. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve collaborating with multiple teams across the business to design innovative solutions that address evolving workforce needs. You will oversee every stage of project lifecycles—from initial scoping through implementation—ensuring alignment with business objectives while maintaining clear communication channels among all participants. By championing process improvements and leveraging technology enhancements, you will help streamline operations and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Your analytical skills will be essential in interpreting data trends and providing recommendations that support evidence-based decision-making. Additionally, your ability to manage change sensitively will ensure new initiatives are embraced across the organisation. Success in this role requires a blend of technical acumen, interpersonal sensitivity, stakeholder engagement skills, and a genuine passion for nurturing positive workplace experiences.

  • Lead end-to-end management of diverse HR projects such as digitalisation initiatives, talent development programmes, employee engagement campaigns, total rewards enhancements, performance management systems implementation, and culture-building activities.
  • Define clear project scopes, objectives, timelines, and deliverables that align with broader business goals while ensuring all stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout each phase.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including HR Business Partners, Centres of Excellence, IT specialists, and business leaders to ensure seamless execution of complex projects.
  • Monitor project progress closely by tracking milestones and deliverables; proactively identify potential risks or bottlenecks and implement effective solutions to maintain momentum.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimisation within HR functions by leveraging automation tools or system upgrades to improve efficiency and service delivery.
  • Collaborate with technology partners and external vendors to implement or upgrade critical HR systems such as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), Learning Management Systems (LMS), or performance evaluation platforms.
  • Ensure data integrity across all HR systems by establishing robust quality controls and supporting effective change management practices during system rollouts or enhancements.
  • Develop comprehensive dashboards that track key HR metrics; analyse data trends to provide actionable insights that inform strategic decision-making at both departmental and organisational levels.
  • Design and execute thoughtful change management plans that facilitate successful adoption of new HR initiatives among employees at all levels.
  • Build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders as well as external vendors; manage contracts and budgets effectively to ensure timely delivery of high-quality project outcomes.

What you bring:

To excel as an HR Project Manager in this organisation, you will bring substantial experience managing multifaceted projects within human resources environments—ideally gained from large-scale enterprises or fast-evolving technology firms. Your educational background provides a solid grounding in business principles while your hands-on expertise enables you to navigate complex challenges with empathy and insight. You possess outstanding interpersonal skills that allow you to build trust-based relationships across all levels of the company. Your analytical approach ensures decisions are informed by reliable data rather than assumptions. In addition to technical proficiency with contemporary HR platforms, your bilingual abilities facilitate seamless communication within multicultural settings. A commitment to professional development—evidenced by relevant certifications—underscores your dedication not only to personal growth but also to elevating standards across the wider team.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field is required for this position to ensure foundational knowledge in core disciplines.
  • At least five years’ experience working in HR or project management roles within large organisations or technology-driven companies demonstrates your capability to handle complex assignments.
  • A proven track record managing cross-functional HR projects from conception through completion highlights your dependability in delivering results on time and within scope.
  • Exceptional project management abilities combined with strong organisational skills enable you to juggle multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—are essential for building rapport with diverse stakeholders and facilitating effective collaboration across departments.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret data using an analytical mindset allows you to translate insights into practical recommendations that drive continuous improvement.
  • Familiarity with modern HR systems such as Workday or SAP SuccessFactors is advantageous for navigating digital transformation initiatives efficiently.
  • Proficiency in both English and Vietnamese ensures smooth interactions with local teams as well as international partners when required.
  • Certification in PMP or Agile methodologies would be considered an asset by demonstrating your commitment to best practices in project delivery.
