HR Manager

A leading generator equipment manufacturer based in HCMC, Vietnam is calling for applications for HR Manager.

About the HR Manager Role:

You will report directly to CEO and has responsibility of building people and leadership capability, developing an adaptive and competitive organisation, and creating a productive environment to deliver increased business results and competitive advantage for the company. To fulfil this responsibility, the HR Manager plays four roles: Business Partner, Change Agent, Employee Champion, and Administrative Expert.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
• Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital
• Act as stewards of the employee experience and company’s culture
• Act as Point of Contact and Program Manager for people tools, processes, programs or projects
• Manage the recruitment and selection process
• Manage and improve the C&B effectively; ensure the payroll process is timeliness; carry out analysis and review the system annually
• Consult managers and employees with career conversations, Development Plans/Career Growth Plans and other development initiatives
• Establish training plans with full budget control, develop training programs, working in close partnerships with functional heads
• Analyse data and observations across the organisation, highlighting trends and recommending/driving solutions, as appropriate

To succeed in this role, you must have good communication skills in English

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher and six years of relevant human resources experience
• Experience working in a matrixed organisation
• Project management and execution skills
• Good interpersonal skills to persuade, influence and adapt communication style to different situations and individuals
• Have growth mentality
• Coaching and consulting skills
• Strong business and HR acumen, including strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking and analysis
• Possess conviction and tenacity, and excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Drives recommendations and prioritisation in collaboration with HR or business leaders to put decisions into a broader business context
• Thrives in an ambiguous environment and able to manage multiple simultaneous priorities
• Possesses intellectual curiosity; brings insight into the team & business
• Take the lead when faced with new and challenging opportunities
• Be passionate about using data and analytics
