Introduction

Our client is a leading multinational FMCG group operating in a highly regulated environment. The company is seeking a senior profile to support its regulatory, external engagement, and risk management agenda at central government level, in close coordination with internal leadership and key external stakeholders.

Reporting line: overseas and dotted line report in Vietnam

What You Will Do

• Drive and support strategic initiatives related to regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and responsible business practices.

• Build and manage key external stakeholder relationships, ensuring constructive engagement aligned with the company’s priorities.

• Monitor regulatory, policy, and market developments, translating insights into clear recommendations for internal stakeholders.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams and selected external partners to ensure effective and consistent execution of agreed initiatives.

• Provide regular updates and insights to senior management, contributing to informed decision-making and continuous improvement.

What You Will Bring

• Diverse backgrounds accepted: Law, Public Policy, Business, or a related field.

• At least 10 years of relevant experience in external engagement, regulatory affairs, government relations, or similar roles demonstrating challenging stakeholders management.

• Solid understanding of regulatory and legislative processes and the functioning of public or institutional stakeholders in Vietnam with previous experience in a similar scope.

• Experience working in MNC is highly preferred and will be prioritised.

• Full English and Vietnamese communication skills.

• High level of discretion, diplomacy, and professionalism.

• Ability to work both independently and with a team.

• Good understanding of communications and media dynamics is a plus.
