A new player in the renewable energy industry based in Danang City, Vietnam is calling applications for a recently created position of Legal Manager.

About the Legal Manager Role:

You will report directly to Country Manager, and will lead all legal, contractual and compliance related matters on group platform level. This is an individual contributor role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle all legal related matters throughout project development, construction, and operational phase
• Provide legal support for investment, greenfield development, M&A of renewable projects within SEA with strong focus on Vietnam
• Lead legal due diligence and reviews on agreements, contracts, maintenance, and service agreements
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts
• Manage liaison with local Vietnamese lenders, international commercial leaders
• Provide support on licensing and permit related issues
• Provide support on analysis of policy and regulatory matters
• Identify risk and compliance related issues and provide mitigation measures

To succeed in this position, you should have seven years' working experience in legal and compliance, in multinational companies. You should be proactive, innovative, and entrepreneurial.

Key Requirements:

• Law degree from a recognised university and admitted to a recognised bar
• Excellent communication skills – bother verbal and written in English and Vietnamese
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
