One of the world’s biggest group in FMCG industry based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam is calling applications for a Legal and Compliance Senior Manager.

About the Legal and Compliance Senior Manager Role:

You will report directly to Managing Director Vietnam and the global team. You will work on legal and compliance issues of the company, particularly focusing on legal licensing management and compliance counselling as well as legal matters related to the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Endorse all the legal matters especially on contract, advertising, licensing, company and investments cases
• Handle audits and compliance process to make sure the company is compliant with the relevant laws in Vietnam and other applicable
• Keep good relationships with authorities and ensure the company obtain all required licenses
• Communicating with all departments in the company and particularly follows up on the compliance of all departments as the company procedures
• Provide advice and legal information Heads of Departments regarding to all business issues
• Review all kinds of contract and agreement in term of legal to make sure it comply with Vietnam law and protect the company from risks
• Keep the Managing Director updated with the new regulations, legislation issued by the governments of Vietnam and other countries

To succeed in this Legal and Compliance Senior Manager position, you should have at least six years solid legal and compliance experience in a corporate environment.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above from accredited law school and licensed to practice law as a Lawyer in Vietnam
• Six -10 years minimum of legal experience, with background of minimum two years of law firm experience in corporate law and exposed to international clients, or in a legal position in a foreign invested company
• Business acumen mindset with solid technical legal knowledge and experience
• Good persuasion and negotiation with excellent interpersonal skills
• Be proactive and action oriented
• Good ability of risk analysing, problem solving and solid judgement
• Professional fluency in both Vietnamese and English
