What you'll do:
As the Head of Legal and Compliance, you will play a pivotal role in providing legal advice and support to the business on all legal matters. Your excellent contract drafting, negotiation, and management skills will be utilised as you draft, review, and negotiate various types of commercial contracts related to the pharma business. You will also manage litigation cases by collaborating with external counsel. Your role will extend to strengthening the Corporate Governance structure within the Vietnamese affiliates. Furthermore, you will advise Senior Management of critical project developments and any other relevant legal and compliance issues in Vietnam.
- Provide legal advice and support to the business on all legal matters
- Draft, review, and negotiate various types of commercial contracts related to pharma business
- Manage litigation cases by collaborating with external counsel
- Strengthen Corporate Governance structure within the Vietnamese affiliates
- Advise Senior Management of critical project developments and any other relevant legal and compliance issues in Vietnam
- Direct/coordinate the work of outside counsel, define project objectives and manage external counsel expenditures in accordance with internal policies
What you bring:
As the ideal candidate for the Head of Legal and Compliance position, you bring along a law education degree; being a qualified lawyer would be an added advantage. You have at least 10 years of in-house legal and compliance experience obtained in a complex, highly regulated industry environment. Your fluency in Vietnamese and English will aid your communication within the company and with external stakeholders. Your ability to draft concise and effective contractual documents coupled with your proactive, flexible, responsive, resourceful nature makes you stand out. You possess strong organizational, analytical, interpersonal and time management skills.
