Senior Legal & Compliance Manager

A leading MNC is seeking a Senior Legal & Compliance Manager to lead legal and compliance matters in Vietnam while supporting regional activities. This role offers the opportunity to advise senior leadership, manage legal risks, and drive compliance in a dynamic, cross-border environment.

What you’ll do:

• Advise management and business units on Vietnamese laws

• Support new projects and partnerships with legal risk assessment and recommendations

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts

• Ensure compliance with local laws and internal policies (anti-corruption, data privacy, etc.)

• Lead compliance programmes, internal investigations, and reporting processes

• Manage disputes, litigation, and work with external counsel and authorities

• Identify legal risks and implement mitigation strategies

• Support corporate governance, licensing, and regulatory filings in Vietnam

• Collaborate with regional APAC legal teams on cross-border initiatives

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law; Lawyer license in Vietnam required

• 12+ years of experience in MNCs or top-tier law firms

• Strong knowledge of Vietnamese law and APAC regulatory environment

• Expertise in contracts, compliance, and dispute management

• Experience supporting cross-border projects and regional stakeholders

• Strong negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills

• Fluent in English and Vietnamese
