What you will do:

• Lead and oversee the firm's tax practice, ensuring high-quality service delivery and client satisfaction.
• Provide strategic advice on complex tax issues, including corporate tax planning, mergers and acquisitions, international tax, and compliance.
• Develop and implement innovative tax strategies to optimize client outcomes and address evolving legal and regulatory requirements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored tax solutions.
• Collaborate with other practice areas within the firm to provide integrated legal services and support business development initiatives.
• Mentor and manage a team of tax professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Stay informed of changes in tax legislation and policy, ensuring the firm’s tax practice remains at the forefront of the industry.
• Represent the firm in high-profile tax disputes and negotiations, leveraging expert knowledge to achieve favorable results for clients.

What you will bring:

• Qualified lawyer in Vietnam - foreign qualified Lawyers can be considered if they demonstrate relevant years of experience in Vietnam
• At least 12 years of experience in Tax law, preferably within a top-tier law firm or equivalent environment.
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex tax matters and leading a team.
• Strong expertise in corporate tax planning, international tax and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships and deliver exceptional client service.
• Full proficiency in English and Vietnamese
