BASED IN PHNOM PENH - Cambodian qualified Lawyer only - Law Firm

A leading international law firm with a strong presence across Asia and a well-established office in Phnom Penh. The firm advises individual and corporate clients on cross-border mobility, immigration, and investment matters, combining local legal knowledge with global expertise.

The Associate will provide legal support and advisory services to both individual and corporate clients on immigration, residency, and foreign investment matters. The role involves direct client interaction, legal drafting, research, and coordination with local authorities and international offices.

What you will do

• Provide legal advice on immigration, visa, and residency solutions for individual and corporate clients.

• Advise on foreign investment structures and business establishment under Cambodian and regional regulations.

• Review, prepare, and draft application documents, legal opinions, affidavits, and supporting letters.

• Conduct regulatory and compliance research; monitor relevant legal and policy developments.

• Liaise with clients, government authorities, and foreign offices to ensure efficient case handling.

• Support senior lawyers in managing client relationships and assisting with complex advisory mandates.

• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure all work complies with internal quality and confidentiality standards.

What you will bring

• Cambodian-qualified lawyer (Bar membership mandatory).

• 1–3 years of post-qualification experience in a law firm, corporate legal department or similar professional environment.

• Experience or strong interest in Business, Corporate, immigration and investment work.

• Full proficiency in both Khmer and English.

• Proactive, independent and devoted.

• Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of handling multiple cases simultaneously.
