Introduction

An international law firm with a strong presence in Asia, particularly in Singapore, is seeking a Mid-Level Corporate / M&A Associate to join its Hanoi office. The firm advises a diverse portfolio of international clients, with a strong focus on European companies.

What You Will Do

• Advise international clients on corporate, M&A, and foreign investment matters in Vietnam

• Support and lead cross-border M&A transactions, including acquisitions, joint ventures, and corporate restructurings

• Conduct legal due diligence and prepare due diligence reports

• Draft and negotiate transaction documents (SPA, SHA, joint venture agreements, corporate documentation)

• Provide advice on Vietnamese corporate law, investment regulations, and regulatory compliance

• Coordinate with regional offices, particularly Singapore, on multi-jurisdictional transactions

• Assist clients with market entry, corporate structuring, and post-investment matters

• Participate in client development and relationship management

What You Will Bring

• 5–7 years of experience in transaction practice specialised in M&A from a reputable law firm (preferred Top Tier firms)

• Strong experience advising on cross-border transactions and foreign investment in Vietnam

• Vietnamese qualified lawyer only

• Excellent drafting and negotiation skills in English

• Experience working with international clients, particularly European or multinational companies

• Ability to manage multiple transactions and work in a fast-paced international environment

• Strong communication and client relationship skills
