Introduction

A leading foreign law firm with a strong footprint across SEA is looking to hire a Senior Lawyer for its Ho Chi Minh City office. The firm is well-regarded for its cross-border capabilities and advises multinational clients on complex, high-value matters.

This role is suited for an experienced Lawyer seeking greater ownership, regional exposure, and a platform to work on sophisticated transactions.

What You Will Do

• Lead and independently manage legal matters across documentation for Corporate, M&A, investment and other commercial areas
• Advise international clients on cross-border transactions and regulatory matters
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts and legal documents
• Supervise and mentor junior lawyers, ensuring quality and efficiency
• Report to the Head of HCM office / Partners
• Collaborate with regional teams on multi-jurisdictional projects
• Contribute to client development when possible through marketing activities

What You Will Bring

• Vietnam-qualified Lawyer with a valid practicing certificate and Lawyer card in Vietnam
• Minimum 10 years of legal experience in private practice, international law firm would be preferred
• Strong background in Corporate/M&A, investment, or general commercial matters
• Proven experience advising international clients or handling cross-border work
• High level of proficiency in English (written and spoken)
• Demonstrated experience in mentoring or leading junior team members
