Sales Director (Music Industry)

An exciting job opportunity of a Sales Director for a international music publisher company has arisen in Ho Chi Minh City.

About the Sales Director Role:

In this business critical role, you will handle local operation team group guiding as well as daily operation issue solving.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and negotiate licensing deals with customers/clients in Vietnam – leveraging the support of regional and global teams.
• Establish a local roster of songwriters/artists in Vietnam, leveraging partner relationships to identify and sign songwriters.
• Work with licensing partners and identify licensing opportunities for both local and international repertoire across all media (TV, film, advertising).
• Work with internal stakeholders to ensure appropriate staffing and talent management and
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external customers
• Develop quarterly and annual plans for growth and to gain market share

To succeed in the role, you should have a strong understanding about music industry and licensing.

Key Requirements:

• Seven years of experience within technology, entertainment and music industry preferred
• Five years of team management experience preferred
• Proven success building brands in country, with extensive industry network to support
• Must be an excellent leader, communicator, highly-organised and self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset
• Adaptable, resourceful and forward thinking, unafraid to challenge the status quo
