About the D2C Assistant Manager Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) talent to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in securing and maintaining customer relationships, with a strong focus on acquisition, retention, and engagement. Your responsibilities will encompass enhancing our commerce infrastructure, optimising operational capabilities, and driving the success of our D2C initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Devise and execute strategies to attract, retain, and engage customers, ensuring long-term relationships and brand loyalty
Continuously improve the competitiveness of our commerce infrastructure and operational capabilities, staying ahead of industry trends
Collaborate closely with the D2C team to optimise product mix, ensuring a compelling and customer-centric assortment
Implement D2C-oriented PSI (Product-Sales-Inventory) management processes to efficiently manage stock and fulfilment
Lead and manage campaigns from concept to execution, fostering creativity and innovation in the process.
Drive consumer visits, membership registrations, and purchase conversions through performance marketing strategies
Develop and operate membership programs aimed at increasing CLV
Take ownership of the daily slotting process and strategy for the entire facility, with a strong focus on integrity and responsibility for its impact on financial and inventory performance
Continually adapt strategies based on evolving business needs, creating constraints and goals as required
Undertake additional job-related tasks as directed by team leaders/managers
To succeed in this role, you must have good communication skills in English.
Key Requirements:
Demonstrated experience in D2C, e-commerce, or related fields is essential.
Display a professional, proactive approach and the ability to work collaboratively with both internal and external business partners
Be capable of self-management and the completion of work assignments with minimal supervision.
Possess strong organisational skills and the ability to present data effectively in various formats.
Be skilled at critiquing systems and identifying potential problems or oversights without prior data for comparison
Exhibit creativity, assertiveness, innovation, and decisiveness, with aspirations for growth in an executive role.
Have excellent communication skills and the capacity to communicate effectively across various leadership levels.
Hands-on experience with e-commerce platforms, preferably Magento.
Familiarity with running tests and quality assurance activities.
Knowledge of tools like Google Analytics for data analysis.
General understanding of User Experience (UX) principles.
Experience in effectively managing stakeholders.
Ability to collaborate across functions, teams, and projects.
Proven skills in presenting information effectively.
Proficiency in identifying customer pain points, conducting opportunity analysis, and providing actionable suggestions based on results.
