What you'll do:

As Senior Marketing Manager – Automotive based in Ho Chi Minh City or Hanoi, you will be entrusted with full responsibility for shaping the marketing vision of some of the world’s most beloved automotive brands. Your day-to-day will involve collaborating with senior leaders across manufacturing and commercial operations to craft compelling campaigns that drive both awareness and sales. You will be at the forefront of launching new products into the market—designing everything from positioning strategies to memorable events—while also ensuring every digital touchpoint delivers value. Your ability to foster strong relationships with dealer partners will be crucial in amplifying showroom performance. By championing data-driven decision-making through market intelligence gathering and analysis of consumer trends, you will provide actionable recommendations that keep your brands ahead of competitors.   • Develop and oversee integrated marketing strategies for each product line, ensuring competitiveness and differentiation tailored specifically for the Vietnamese market.
  • Build annual and multi-year marketing plans that align with business objectives, sales targets, and broader regional directives from APAC leadership.
  • Lead brand positioning initiatives, messaging frameworks, and creative direction to ensure consistency across all consumer touchpoints.
  • Monitor key brand experience metrics such as Net Promoter Score (NPS) and implement methods to build, increase, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Own the end-to-end product launch process for new models, including crafting positioning statements, pricing insights, communication plans, and orchestrating impactful launch events.
  • Localise global product strategies to fit Vietnam’s unique consumer behaviours and competitive landscape while maintaining alignment with international brand guidelines.
  • Drive the digital marketing roadmap encompassing performance marketing, SEO/SEM optimisation, website enhancement, social media engagement, and digital media planning.
  • Strengthen CRM programmes to enhance customer lifecycle management, retention rates, loyalty initiatives, and monitor digital KPIs for campaign optimisation.
  • Partner closely with Sales teams and dealer networks to design trade marketing programmes that boost showroom traffic and conversion rates through effective promotional assets.
  • Plan and execute national and regional events such as product launches, roadshows, test-ride activities, brand activations, while ensuring robust media presence and PR coverage.

What you bring:

To excel as Senior Marketing Manager – Automotive, you will bring a wealth of hands-on experience from similar roles where you have successfully led teams through periods of transformation. Your background should include deep exposure to integrated campaign management—spanning traditional advertising through digital channels—and a proven track record of driving results in fast-moving sectors. You are adept at interpreting market research into actionable plans that resonate locally while supporting global objectives. Your interpersonal skills allow you to nurture collaborative relationships across departments such as Sales or After-Sales while mentoring your own team towards shared goals. A passion for customer engagement combined with meticulous attention to detail ensures every initiative under your guidance achieves maximum impact. Your fluency in both Vietnamese and English allows you to bridge cultural nuances seamlessly when working with diverse internal stakeholders or external partners.

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in marketing roles with at least 4 years in managerial positions within automotive, consumer goods, retail or other fast-moving industries is essential for this position.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing integrated marketing strategies that deliver measurable business outcomes is required.
  • Deep understanding of Vietnam’s consumer behaviour patterns as well as familiarity with its digital landscape and retail environment is highly valued.
  • Experience working directly with dealer networks or managing multi-location retail businesses provides a significant advantage for this role.
  • Exceptional communication skills are necessary for presenting ideas clearly while building trust among stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively within a dynamic environment ensures you can adapt quickly to changing demands.
  • A creative mindset combined with strong analytical abilities enables you to solve complex challenges using both innovative thinking and data-driven insights.
