An exciting Group Brand Manager job has become available at one of the multinational pharmaceutical firms, based in HCMC. Reporting directly to Business Unit Head, this is the role for the person who is a leader in their field.
About the Group Brand Manager Role:
As the Group Brand Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive brand strategies for our OTC products across multiple markets. This role is vital to our organisation as it will drive the growth and market share of our brands in the competitive pharmaceutical industry. We are open to candidates with a background in Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) as they bring valuable insights and skills to the role.
Key Responsibilities:
Brand Strategy Development: Develop and implement brand strategies aligned with overall company goals, market trends, and consumer insights. Define brand positioning, target audience, and value propositions for OTC products within the pharmaceutical industry
Marketing Campaigns: Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness, increase market penetration, and achieve sales targets. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product development, sales, and marketing communications to ensure effective campaign execution
Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify market trends, consumer needs, and competitive landscape. Utilise market insights to identify growth opportunities and recommend strategic actions to maximise brand performance in the OTC channel
Product Portfolio Management: Manage the OTC product portfolio by analysing product performance, identifying gaps, and making recommendations for new product development or modifications. Work closely with product development teams to ensure timely and successful product launches
Channel Partner Collaboration: Establish strong relationships with key channel partners, including pharmacies, retailers, and online platforms, to drive brand visibility and increase distribution. Collaborate with sales teams to develop effective trade marketing programs and promotions to support channel growth
Brand Guidelines and Compliance: Ensure adherence to brand guidelines, regulatory requirements, and industry standards in all marketing activities. Monitor and maintain brand consistency across different channels and touchpoints
Team Leadership: Provide guidance and leadership to a team of brand managers and marketing professionals. Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment, encourage professional development, and manage performance evaluations
To succeed in this role, you must have good communication skills in English.
Key Requirements:
Minimum five years of experience in brand management, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry or FMCG
Strong knowledge of OTC marketing, consumer behaviour, and industry trends. Proven track record of successfully developing and executing brand strategies that drive market share growth
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners
Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and interpret market data to make data-driven decisions
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
Proficiency in using marketing tools and software for campaign planning and performance tracking
