Senior Brand Manager

* On behalf of our client, we are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Senior Brand Manager to join their vibrant team in HCM City. This role presents an exhilarating opportunity to manage and nurture brands, ensuring performance aligns with set targets. You will be the driving force behind the volume, value, gross profit, and brand contribution of your assigned category.

What you'll do:

As a Senior Brand Manager, you will play a pivotal role in nurturing and developing brands within your assigned category. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular brand reviews to ensure performance is in line with set targets. You will also be tasked with developing and executing annual business plans and captivating marketing campaigns that are geared towards achieving these targets. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with advertising and research agencies for branch communication development. Your role will also involve formulating insights and strategies for the brand based on market data and consumer behaviour.

  • Nurture the brands/ category based on the 4 Ps (Product, Price, Promotion, Profitability)
  • Conduct regular brand reviews to ensure performance aligns with set targets
  • Drive volume, value, gross profit, brand contribution of assigned category
  • Develop and execute annual business plans/ captivating marketing campaigns
  • Manage Advertising and Promotions budget effectively
  • Collaborate with advertising/ research agencies for branch communication development
  • Formulate insights and strategies for the brand based on market data and consumer behaviour
  • Lead development of innovative new products

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Senior Brand Manager position will have a BA in marketing, communication, business or a related field. You should have 1-3 years of brand management experience in the FMCG sector. Experience in New Product Development and Launching is essential. You should be highly flexible/open-minded, resourceful, practical with good project management skills. A results-oriented approach is crucial along with robust analytical skills and an entrepreneurial spirit. An understanding of market research – both quantitative (including Retail Audit) and qualitative – is required. You should also understand business financials and have good computer skills.
