Your ability to manage budgets effectively while delivering high-quality activations will be crucial in achieving increased off-take rates and greater numeric as well as weighted distribution. Success in this role means not only meeting but exceeding expectations through strong stakeholder engagement and continuous improvement of trade programmes.
- Develop and implement annual trade marketing strategies tailored for pharmacy chains, wholesalers, e-wholesalers, and pharma chain channels in alignment with overall brand priorities.
- Ensure consistency and transparency of trade discount schemes across all sales channels while aligning with commercial policies to prevent channel conflict or margin erosion.
- Design and deploy bespoke trade programmes aimed at maximising product visibility, off-take rates, and brand equity at the point-of-sale through creative activations.
- Collaborate with sales teams to translate overarching brand strategies into actionable retail execution plans that deliver measurable results.
- Own and maintain the country’s Commercial Policy by ensuring coherence between discount schemes, incentive structures, and business objectives while leading annual updates.
- Lead clear communication and training efforts regarding commercial policy updates for both internal teams and external partners to ensure full compliance.
- Design and oversee execution of in-store activations including merchandising programmes, POS material deployment, bundle offers, cross-branding promotions, and adherence to visibility guidelines based on product classification (OTC/Rx/FS).
- Work closely with marketing brand teams and regulatory departments to validate promotional content for compliance with industry standards.
- Co-develop channel-specific plans alongside key account managers to support retail chains and pharmacy partners while monitoring competitor activities for growth opportunities.
- Manage the Gross To Net/trade marketing budget efficiently by tracking ROI for each initiative, recommending improvements as needed, and ensuring alignment with procurement processes.
