Robert Walters Vietnam raises over VND30 million for Charity Day 2018

The Robert Walters Group held its annual fundraising event on 12 October 2018. The Vietnam office, comprising 34 staff members, raised a total of VND32 million for Go Vap Orphanage.

Connecting together for good

This year, the Vietnam office organised team-based fund-raising activities. All teams competed to support Go Vap Orphanage. Fund-raising activities included a food challenge, where teams ate various food items such as banh mi, snack, ice cream, coke and banh day and tried to finish it in the shortest time. Other activities included king pong – throwing ping pong balls into cups – and bean picking – picking beans with chopsticks from a box of mixed beans and classifying them by colour. The auction sale saw us get the highest donation amount of VND20 million.

In addition to these activities, the team played other games, such as pouring water with their eyes blindfolded.

Adrien Bizouard, Country Head of Robert Walters Vietnam, commented:

“Our annual global charity day is a great opportunity to help people and give back meaningfully to the Vietnamese society. Having all these games also helps us to become closer as a team and learn from each other. It was fun and fulfilling day. The office will also be visiting the orphanage to interact with the children personally."
