Viet Nam News: Companies to battle for top talent in 2015

5/2/2015

According to the latest Robert Walters Global Salary Survey 2015, employers in Vietnam will compete for the country's top talent. The increased job opportunities across multiple sectors coupled with the limited talent pool and skill shortages in the market is likely to cause recruitment challenges.

The competition for strong local talent will likely intensify in 2015, and firms are expected to turn towards attracting Vietnamese professionals working overseas.

Jon Whitehead, Country Manager of Robert Walters Vietnam

"The current candidate pool is facing various skills gaps. Therefore Vietnamese people working abroad is a viable option to bridging this gap due to their international experience, cultural awareness and professional skills."

"The increased interest from foreign investors will continue to create more job opportunities in 2015. Due to the growing manufacturing industry, professionals will see rising demand in supply chain, procurement and logistics."
