US Trade Lane Manager

About the US Trade Lane Manager Role:

You will be responsible for all US trade management activities which will involve working with internal stakeholders and key customers to ensure cargo & revenue is maximised.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating a new liner service in a profitable manner, optimising the cargo mix for maximum revenue and efficiency
• Space management and cargo selection
• Providing a weekly update on the local market situation (rates & activities, cargo flow), analysis of vessel performance to identify improvements for subsequent sailings
• Developing strong relationships with key customers in Vietnam, involved in business negotiations if required.
• Working directly with internal stakeholders, customers, and vendors on a day-to-day basis to deliver reliable operations and customer service
• Coordinating with local team members for timely documentation production

To succeed in the role, you are required to have broad understanding of US trade lane.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Five experience in freight forwarding or shipping line preferred
• Trade lane management experience
• Strong technical acumen (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM systems...)
• English fluency
• Open for expats in Vietnam as well
