An exciting job opportunity as a Senior Sales Manager for a B2B e-commerce platform has arisen in Ho Chi Minh City.
About the Senior Sales Manager (B2B E-Commerce) Role:
We are looking for an ambitious and experienced Senior Sales Manager for a B2B e-commerce platform that connects brands directly with SMEs, focusing on HORECA industry (hotel, restaurant, and café) to drive their growing business in Vietnam.
This position is located in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam and will require some local travelling to client locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain the national Horeca database through integration and consolidation of Horeca assessments
- Align with Trade Marketing team in the definition of trade & route to market strategy, clarifying Horeca outlets’ requirements
- Define customer trading terms (e.g. bonus, credit, discounts) for Horeca outlets in the commercial planning, following guidelines from Head of Trade
- Ensure that objectives in terms of availability, visibility, volume, margin, quality and customer price of products are achieved for the Horeca channel
- Customise trade programs for Horeca’s reality
- Leverage programs developed by Brand teams
- Increase levels of Horeca trade support and loyalty by enhancing understanding of the Horeca trading environment and establishing close working relations with the Horeca trade
- Coordinate implementation of brand and trade programs in Horeca outlets
- Manage an efficient and effective Horeca team through on-job training, motivation and staff development in order to deliver brand and trade programs that are superior to the competition in this channel
- Ensure that Horeca team and Horeca trade partners are well-trained
- Minimize commercial risks in the Horeca channel
- Manage the productivity & cost optimization of the Horeca channel (trade spend effectiveness)
- Develop credit risk directives for Horeca accounts
- Manage equipment and material, to ensure the maximization of asset usage
- Champion innovation in development of trade programs in order to ensure competitive advantage in the Horeca channel
- Ensure that Horeca team captures innovative ideas from customers and consumers.
To succeed in this role, you must have good communication skills in English.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business administration or related major
- Minimum five years’ experience in Horeca sales (Preferable to traditional trade in FMCG industries). Experience in sales planning in channel for Retails/Ecommerce/FMCG industry is a plus
- Able to design & run sales forecasting in collab with internal functions
- Strong planning & sales project management skills
- Good communication both in English and Vietnamese
- Be able to work at all levels team players, and detail-oriented.
