An exciting Senior Sales Manager job has arisen in a leading manufacturing firm in Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam.
About the Senior Sales Manager Role:
To manage the domestic sales team and achieve sales revenue targets for Vietnam market in line with the overall business strategy, specifically for plastic packaging.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the domestic sales team on a daily basis
Develop and implement a sales plan for Vietnam market and meet/exceed monthly, quarterly and annual targets for plastic-related products
Ensure accurate customer pricing based on resin pricing and updates from the commercial team for plastic-related products
Generate bi-monthly sales updates and provide bright spot/hot spot commentary for plastic-related products
Allocate reasonable business targets to each sales team member and guide them to implement the business plan for plastic-related products
Track, verify and guide the sales team in implementing business targets including working with customers to minimise risks for plastic-related products
Work with inside sales team to support customer collections on Days Payable Outstanding (DPO) with a focus on company cash flow for plastic-related products
Manage and develop each sales team member and conduct recruitment and training as needed for plastic-related products
Manage and update the customer list and develop and maintain relationships with all customers to ensure customer satisfaction for plastic-related products
Work with sales team members and coordinate with the production sites to eliminate customer complaints and resolve any complaints in a timely manner for plastic-related products
Develop the annual OPEX budget for the sales team for plastic-related products
Coordinate with other departments to improve the business performance of the company for plastic-related products
Report the work and the implementation of KPIs monthly for plastic-related products
To succeed in this role, you must have good communication skills in English.
Key Requirements:
University Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or relevant major
Proficient in English and MS Office
Minimum eight years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in plastic and packaging industry
Experience in managing a team
Strong understanding of the domestic market and the plastic packaging market for plastic-related products
Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
Customer relationship management skills
Ability to meet strict deadlines, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Leadership and team management skills
