About the Sales Manager Role:
The Sales Manager is responsible for both the technical and economic aspects of the project business. Your role will involve achieving defined sales targets, conducting technical sales presentations, market assessment, and building a network with key industry players. You will play a crucial role in securing projects and supporting distribution partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the technical and economic aspects of the project business, with a focus on drainage and supply systems
Achieve defined sales targets for the region and the dedicated market
Prepare and conduct technical sales presentations to developers, consultants, architects, and contractors through training and seminars
Use presentations and seminars as opportunities to acquire new projects
Perform market assessments to understand market trends, changing customer requirements, and needs
Build and maintain a network with Developers, Architects, MEP consultants, and contractors
Collaborate with the Head of Sales and Technical Sales Engineers on technical issues and to ensure requirements are met
Use CRM to plan and document all project-related activities
Actively manage the project funnel and build new pipelines to meet yearly targets and project hit rates
Provide support for distribution partners and ensure local stock availability
Plan and execute regular alignment meetings to expand the project funnel and secure projects within the defined discount structure
To succeed in this role, you must have good communication skills in English.
Key Requirements:
Engineering diploma or degree (Mechanical/Architect) or Economics
Professional and fluent in English and the local language
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the ability to read technical drawings
Experience in the piping industry or related to the building industry
Willingness to travel within Vietnam
Persistent and resilient, with a constant willingness to learn
Strong team player with social competence
