What you'll do:

As a Customer Development Manager in Pet Care, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's business objectives. You will craft detailed business plans and manage category projects by customer, owning budget control, and requiring distributor focus/resources. Your role will involve building strong business partnerships with Modern Trade Customers through a category approach, identifying who is the right strategic counterpart in short-term and long-term. You will also drive tactical solutions at store level with on-field key stakeholders to deliver sales growth and category penetration.

  • Responsible for sales achievement and Pet Nutrition Strategic Deployment for Modern Trade in Vietnam.
  • Build relationships and partnerships with identified key MT retailers.
  • Drive performance in various areas through national distributor sales team by identifying opportunities, monitoring performance, providing support and recommendations.
  • Work closely with MT operation team at distributor on a daily basis.
  • Execution of Category Project (Share of Shelf / Share of Assortment).
  • Identify opportunities & risks at store level.
  • Measure and Track OOS, Repeat Order, Average sales per store for improvement.
  • Coach and train to equip them with necessary functional skills.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Customer Development Manager - Pet Care position brings a wealth of experience in Modern Trade. With excellent command over English, she possesses strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Her ability to influence and negotiate effectively sets her apart from others. She is proficient in MS Office and has a deep commercial understanding of business issues/opportunities. Her strong understanding of sales and marketing strategy, planning issues, and analytical skills enable her to develop effective strategies, tactics, and measurable implementations.

  • At least 5-7 years’ experience in Modern Trade.
  • Good command of English.
  • Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills and presentation skills.
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Strong commercial understanding of business issues/opportunities.
  • Strong understanding of sales and marketing strategy and planning issues.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to develop strategies, tactics and measurable implementation.
