Our client is actively seeking a Specialist in Technical Sales for their Leather Finish Division. This role, directly reporting to the Sales Manager based in Singapore, offers an exciting opportunity to promote high-quality leather finishing products and provide exceptional technical service to customers in Vietnam.

What you'll do:

As a Specialist in Technical Sales for the Leather Finish Division, your role will be crucial in promoting our client's top-notch leather finishing products to customers in Vietnam. You will be responsible for achieving agreed sales targets, promoting profitable business growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction through unparalleled support. Your ability to resolve production issues and conduct testing for new products at customer's factories will be essential. Your excellent interpersonal skills will enable you to build robust relationships with customers and manage demanding situations effectively. As part of a diverse global team, your adaptability and superior communication skills will be highly valued.

  • Promote the company's Leather Finishing products to customers in Vietnam
  • Achieve agreed sales targets with the aim of promoting profitable business growth

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Specialist in Technical Sales role will hold a Diploma/Degree in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering or from a relevant Leather College. You should bring over 5 years of relevant experience in a leather tannery or leather chemical company, with exposure to marketing, technical service, and business development. Your strong interest in sales, backed by a solid technical chemical background, will be key to your success in this role. Your ability to resolve customers' production issues and conduct testing for new products at customer's factories will be essential. You should possess excellent interpersonal skills, be adaptable, an exceptional listener, and able to manage demanding customers and navigate difficult issues effectively. A highly motivated individual who enjoys tackling challenges as well as being a collaborative team player would thrive in this role.

  • Diploma/Degree in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering or relevant Leather College
  • Over 5 years of relevant experience in leather tannery or leather chemical company with marketing, technical service and business development exposures
  • Proficient communication skills in English and Vietnamese; Chinese speaking is a plus
  • Strong interest in sales backed by solid technical chemical background
  • Ability to resolve customers’ production issues and conduct testing for new products at customer’s factory
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with customers
  • Adaptability and superior listening skills
  • Exceptional communication skills to manage demanding customers and navigate difficult issues
