What you'll do:
- Develop and maintain robust business relationships with both existing clients and new prospects across the paper & packaging and wood furniture industries.
- Identify and acquire new customers by providing comprehensive support tailored to their specific needs within key market segments.
- Conduct regular customer visits, offering expert consultation and technical support to ensure optimal use of adhesive products.
- Organise product trials, introduce innovative solutions to clients, and actively pursue opportunities to expand the customer base.
- Monitor delivery schedules closely and follow up on payments to ensure seamless transactions and customer satisfaction.
- Prepare detailed weekly reports on business activities and customer engagement schedules for senior management review.
- Forecast quarterly sales volumes accurately, reporting projections directly to senior leadership to inform strategic planning.
- Represent adhesive solutions at symposiums, trade fairs, and industry events, showcasing product benefits to potential clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align sales strategies with broader regional and global programmes for maximum impact.
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or technical engineering is preferred; candidates with relevant qualifications will be highly regarded.
- At least five years of experience in industrial B2B sales within adhesives, packaging, printing automation or other directly related industries is essential.
- Proven track record in the chemical industry is compulsory; possessing an established customer base in key market segments such as paper packaging is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a sales pipeline effectively throughout extended sales cycles while maintaining positive client relationships.
- Expertise in adhesive application for paper & packaging or wood furniture businesses would be considered an advantage.
- Ownership of a car and willingness to travel regularly as required by job responsibilities is necessary.
- Excellent English communication skills—both written and spoken—are mandatory for success in this role.
- Ability to prepare professional CVs in English is required for application consideration.
