Business Development Manager (Social Media)

An exciting job opportunity of a Business Development Manager (Social Media Platform) for an online advertising and technology company has arisen in Ho Chi Minh City.

About the Business Development Manager (Social Media Platform) Role:

Our client is looking for an ambitious and experienced Business Development Manager (Social Media Platform) to complement their growing international Operations team in Vietnam.

This position is located in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam and will require some local travelling to client and agency locations. This position will report to the Business Head.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively grow client portfolio: Media/Creative Agencies & direct clients
• Collaborating with local teams of large international and national advertisers to understand their objectives, recommending best practices, and developing effective campaigns
• Create consultative sales presentations to demonstrate how our advertising products can be leveraged to connect with consumers
• Create case studies for use in advertising pitches
• Help advertisers build and execute effective campaigns, measure results, and renew /up-sell to drive revenue growth
• Monitor and analyse campaign performance on a daily basis
• Work closely together with internal ad-operations teams to ensure smooth campaign delivery
• Manage the payment structure and terms with the clients
• Thought leadership – immersing yourself in the evolving digital media landscape, and adapting to our ongoing product developments
• Assist with the marketing efforts of the team, when necessary

Key Requirements:

• Five years of experience in digital media sales, e-commerce, fintech working with large advertisers and advertising agencies
• Established relationships with marketing decision makers at companies and agencies
• A track record demonstrating an ability to develop and grow a book of business
• Demonstrate ability to create, develop, and enhance customer relationships
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Aptitude, creativity, and a preference for working in small, collaborative teams
• Fluent in English
• BA / BS degree
