Our client a leading global producer of industrial minerals and a worldwide distributor of speciality chemicals is looking for a Technical Sales Representative.

About the Technical Sales Representative-Construction Role:

In this role, you will be responsible to expand the business in the North of Vietnam.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Selling company products (Calcium Carbonate - CaCO3) and other chemicals (distribution products) to construction application: decorative & industry coatings, inks, adhesives, sealants
  • Managing sales activities & potential customers in Hanoi and surrounding provinces. The other tasks of this segment
  • Seeking new customer, new application which related to the business & services of company to expand the sales
  • Co-ordinating with regional technical service manager to develop new products/principles of company to local customers
  • Co-ordinating with other departments to accomplish the work required and close the sales tasks
  • Maintain & develop relationship with customers, enhance cooperate reputation & image of company
  • Analyse market situation, customer demand, activities of competitors and prepare the action plan accordingly
  • Perform problem solving in both sales and technical problem. Handle all customers’ complaints
  • Attend scheduled corporate training and meetings with regional team
  • Preparing yearly sales forecast, weekly & monthly reports to Sales Manager
  • Supporting accounting department to collect the money, overdue debt from customers, if any
  • Enable travelling for company business
  • Other tasks relate to sales/marketing activities assigned by Sales Manager

To succeed in this role, you must have good communication skills in English.

Key Requirements:

  • Have technical knowledge of coatings products, materials, additives which related to construction segment.
  • Have experience of selling resins, chemicals, additives, calcium carbonate to plastic manufacturers, PVC compounders, manufacturers which related to plastic & rubber
  • Speaking and writing English fluently.
  • Communication skill, self-motivated & team work.
  • Computer skills (word, excel, PowerPoint, internet, email)
