About the Sales Director Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Director to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth within the SME and labor-intensive sectors. As the Sales Director, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our customer base, forging strong relationships with key clients, and overseeing a team of sales professionals.
Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy tailored to the unique needs and challenges of the SME and labour-intensive industries, with a focus on retail and factory environments
Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing sales team. Provide coaching, mentorship, and ongoing support to ensure the team consistently meets or exceeds sales targets
Identify and target potential clients within the SME and labour-intensive sectors. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, understanding their pain points, and demonstrating how our HR tech solutions can address their specific needs
Continuously assess market opportunities, industry trends, and competitor activities to refine and adapt the sales strategy and ensure the company's position as a market leader
Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline, proactively closing new business deals and upselling to existing clients to drive revenue growth
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and customer support, to align sales efforts with company goals and ensure a seamless customer experience
Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the sales team, regularly analysing sales data to identify areas for improvement and optimisation
Manage the sales department's budget, allocating resources efficiently to achieve sales goals and maximise return on investment
Generate accurate and timely sales reports and forecasts for executive leadership, helping guide decision-making and strategy
To succeed in this role, you must have good communication skills in English.
Bachelor's degree in business, sales, or a related field (MBA preferred)
Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, particularly within HR tech, SAAS or related industries
Strong understanding of the SME and labour-intensive sectors, with specific knowledge of the retail and factory environments. Experience in SAAS would be a plus
Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a focus on fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute sales plans effectively
Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and reporting
Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events
