About the Business Development Manager Role:
In this role you will be responsible for sales activities for SEA market. You will also plan, conduct and evaluate all project field sales activities in order to promote and support the company brand name in the assigned project market and key accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
Research and uncover new business prospects, identifying growth areas, market trends, potential customers, partnerships, and services in SEA
Cultivate and nurture relationships with clients, ensuring a strong rapport and understanding of their needs
Facilitate international buyers' business transactions effectively
Generate leads and initiate cold calls to engage potential customers
Conduct face-to-face or online meetings with clients to address their requirements and present effective solutions
Maintain accurate and well-documented sales pipelines, communicating updates to the Sales and Marketing Manager
Develop and execute strategic business and marketing plans tailored to the specific business fields
Perform market research, analyse information, and consolidate data for business development projects
Fulfil other assigned duties and responsibilities as directed by the supervisor
To succeed in this role, you must have good communication skills in English.
Key Requirements:
Possess a minimum of five years of experience in business development
Have at least five years of experience working for a testing service provider
Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the competitive Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) landscape in Vietnam
Exhibit effective territory planning skills to identify and prioritise opportunities
Display a customer-oriented attitude, showcasing strong selling and negotiation skills
Possess excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
Able to thrive in a multi-cultural/multi-national work environment
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities in both Vietnamese and English
