Our client, a global leader in biopharmaceuticals, is seeking an Area Sales Manager to join their Cardiovascular Renal Metabolic (CVRM) division. What you'll do:
As the Area Sales Manager for the CVRM division, you will be at the forefront of driving sales performance across your district. You will lead your team to meet or exceed established sales forecasts, setting challenging goals for each territory. Your proactive approach will enable you to anticipate and address any obstacles that may impede results. You will assess both individual and team progress towards goals, providing coaching where necessary to ensure improvement. Your role will also involve developing sales representatives to enhance their skills and advance their careers. Compliance is key in this role; you will ensure all interactions with healthcare professionals adhere strictly to regulations.

* Lead District Team to meet or exceed established sales forecasts and call execution goals.
* Work with individual sales reps to establish appropriate and challenging goals for each territory.
* Proactively anticipate and address obstacles that may impede results.
* Assess individual and team progress toward goals, and coach to improve.
* Develop sales reps to enhance skills and advance to higher career level.
* Ensure compliance with all regulations regarding interactions with healthcare professionals, distribution of samples, etc.
* Responsible for team compliance including first line monitoring.

What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Area Sales Manager position brings a wealth of experience and skills to the table. With a Bachelor's degree under your belt, you have spent at least three years achieving consistent success in pharmaceutical or healthcare sales. Your leadership capabilities are evident, backed by strong financial management skills. Your excellent written and oral communication abilities set you apart, and previous management experience is a definite plus. If you have had exposure or experience in other functional areas of the business such as Sales Training, Operations, Brand Team or Managed Markets, this will be highly advantageous.

* Bachelor’s degree
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience with consistent success in pharmaceutical or healthcare sales
* Demonstrated leadership capabilities
* Financial management skills
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Previous management experience is desirable
* Previous exposure or experience in other functional areas of the business such as Sales Training, Operations, Brand Team or Managed Markets is advantageous
