Sales Manager (Automation)

As the Sales Manager for Vietnam, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and business development activities in the region. Leveraging your technical expertise, you will identify customer needs and effectively promote Automation solutions. This position requires a proactive approach to market development and the ability to work autonomously.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and expand market presence in Vietnam.
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, and negotiate contracts.
  • Utilize technical knowledge to comprehensively understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate automation solutions.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and deliver technical presentations to prospective clients.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (engineering, project management, etc.) to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor market dynamics, competitor activities, and customer feedback to anticipate shifts and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) set by the company.

Key requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field; MBA or technical certifications are advantageous.
  • The position requires at least 5 years of experience in a related job scope.
  • Proven track record in technical sales, preferably within the automation or related sectors.
  • Strong grasp of automation technologies and their applications.
  • Experience in penetrating new markets and establishing robust customer relationships.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and thrive in a remote work environment.
  • Willingness to travel within Vietnam and occasionally to the regional headquarters.
