The role is focused on the development of a sustainable customer base for Polypropylene (PP) and Polyethylene (PE) across the South-East Asia region, excluding Vietnam. This position offers the chance to lead new grade homologations with prospective customers and contribute to the development of pricing strategy and service offering for the region. Based in Ho Chi Minh or Hanoi, this role reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer.

What you'll do:

As a Sales Manager for South-East Asia Region, you will be at the forefront of driving business growth in this dynamic market. Your primary responsibility will be to develop a sustainable customer base for PP and PE products across the region. You will execute sales strategies, identify new market opportunities, build strong relationships with key accounts, and contribute to pricing strategies. Your ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally will be crucial in this role.

  • Execute and implement sales activities for PP and PE on allocated markets in South-East Asia, including value selling, product promotion, key account management, product testing and technical issues resolution, price negotiation and demand forecasting
  • Identify new market opportunities for new grades through close interaction with potential customers
  • Build up strong long-term partnerships with acquired key accounts by demonstrating the highest standard of professionalism and integrity
  • Maintain efficient internal cross-functional and external communication
  • Lead new grade homologations with perspective customers
  • Contribute to development of pricing strategy and service offering for the region

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Sales Manager role will bring a wealth of experience in business development or sales within the PP and PE industry in South-East Asia. You should have a wide network of contacts among end-users and regional traders. Your natural interest in sales, coupled with your excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills will set you apart. A high level of technical knowledge about industrial machinery, latest technologies, and best practices in related fields is essential. You should be a result-oriented self-starter, fluent in English; fluency in Chinese would be a bonus.

  • Minimum 7 years experience in business development or sales of PP and PE in South-East Asia
  • Wide network of contacts among PP and PE end-users and regional traders
  • Skilled and naturally interested in sales, communication, negotiation and presentation
  • High level of technical knowledge and understanding of industrial machinery, latest technologies and best practices in related fields
  • Result-oriented self-starter
  • Fluent English; fluency in Chinese is desirable
