Our client is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Senior Sales Specialist to join their team in Ho Chi Minh. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of a leading global provider of cloud computing and digital logistics services. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing the company's external client portfolio and market share, with a focus on new customer acquisition and portfolio development.

What you'll do:

As a Sales Specialist, you will be at the forefront of driving our client's growth in Ho Chi Minh. Your primary responsibility will be to identify relevant customer targets and business opportunities based on the company's service offerings such as Ocean and Air forwarding service, contract logistics, and express courier. You will also be responsible for managing the customer portfolio, winning new customers, retaining existing businesses, achieving sales targets, hitting critical KPIs, reporting performance achievements, implementing clear sales strategies, collaborating with other teams to ensure consistent service levels, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

  • Conduct market research and prospecting activity, identifying new customer targets across multiple industry sectors
  • Approach business customer targets and local decision makers to offer tailored solutions and services
  • Manage customer portfolio, winning new customers and retaining existing businesses
  • Achieve sales targets and hit critical KPIs
  • Report and review performance achievement with sales leader, implementing clear sales strategies aligned with objectives and targets
  • Collaborate with Customer service and Operation team to ensure consistent service level and customer satisfaction

What you bring:

The ideal Senior Sales Specialist candidate brings a wealth of experience in the logistics industry along with a strong commercial mindset and has excellent relationship-building skills that enable her to connect with various stakeholders effectively. Her ability to communicate fluently in Vietnamese and English, and potentially other languages, is a strong asset. This person has a keen interest and knowledge about logistics services, freight forwarding, and the contract logistics market environment. Her educational background in Business Administration, Transportation, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management will be highly beneficial.

  • Bachelor’s degree/ Diploma/ Certificate in Business Administration, Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field preferred
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in logistics industry (forwarders, express courier or contract logistics companies), preferably in commercial role, business development
  • Strong commercial and sales hunter mindset, with self-driven, highly persistent behaviour
  • Strong relationship-building skills with various stakeholders. Capable of identifying and convincing local decision makers for logistics services
  • Good Vietnamese and English communication skills. Ability to communicate in other languages is a strong plus
  • Interest and knowledge about logistics services, freight forwarding and contract logistics market environment
