This role offers an exciting opportunity to play a crucial part in promoting and expanding the Express Ocean Service Sun Chief. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and cultivating business opportunities, managing customer relationships, and achieving sales targets. The primary goal will be to enhance market penetration and build strong, long-lasting partnerships in the region. What you'll do:

As a Sales Manager in Logistics, your role will be pivotal in driving the success of our client's Express Ocean Service Sun Chief. You'll be at the forefront of identifying potential clients, developing strategic sales plans, conducting market research, promoting services, building relationships with key stakeholders, providing exceptional customer service, preparing sales reports, maintaining records of activities, collaborating with marketing teams on promotional materials, working closely with operations teams for seamless service delivery.

  • Identify and target potential clients for the Express Ocean Service Sun Chief.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue goals.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • Promote the features and benefits of the Sun Chief service to new and existing customers through direct and push/pull sales strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to address inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and market analyses to management.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns for the Sun Chief service.
  • Work closely with Vietnam and USA operations, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure seamless execution of service delivery.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Sales Manager position brings a wealth of industry experience along with a proven track record in business development within the freehand cargo sector. Your fluency in English coupled with your familiarity with business opportunities across Vietnam will be key assets. Your comfortability in social situations within the industry will enable you to develop relationships outside formal settings. Your proven ability to proactively establish and nurture valuable external relationships will be crucial in this role.

  • Over 5 years’ experience in the industry.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Strong desire to be involved in direct sales & promotional work.
  • Successful background in business development within the freehand cargo sector.
  • Familiarity with business opportunities in North and South Provinces of Vietnam.
  • Comfortable in industry related social situations.
  • Proven ability to proactively establish and nurture valuable external relationships.
