This role is perfect for someone who is curious, courageous, and colourful, with a passion for refining chemical material solutions with game-changing products. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets, providing technical support to customers, defining and implementing key account plans, and identifying and commercialising in new markets to support sustainable growth. What you'll do:

As a Sales and Market Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in achieving the company's TPU sales target. You will work closely with technical functions to provide essential support to customers while defining and implementing key account plans. Your role will also involve identifying new markets/applications for commercialisation to support sustainable growth. Additionally, you will lead a cross-country market segment team to drive footwear business across ASEAN countries.

  • Define and implement sales strategies and plans
  • Provide accurate sales forecasting and deliver set volume and margin targets
  • Identify and commercialise in new market/applications/customers
  • Build network with customers, decision makers and key influencers in focused markets
  • Provide regular reports regarding market, customer and competitor trends
  • Define requirements on product, supply, and technical service to provide necessary support to customers
  • Responsible for AR collection and coordination with credit management team
  • Work closely with assigned Key Accounts to define and implement the key account plan

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Sales and Market Development Manager role will bring a wealth of professional experience in marketing or sales. You should have excellent communication skills, the ability to manage ambiguity, and be a team player with independent working capabilities. A good discipline with a sense of urgency to meet commitments is essential. Fluency in spoken/written English and Mandarin is required.

  • Bachelor's degree in sciences/engineering or business administration degree or equivalent
  • More than 5 years of professional experience in marketing or sales or similar fields
  • Experience with Footwear/Engineering Polymer industry is an advantage but not a must
  • Experience in international business environment is an advantage but not a must
  • Good communication and people skill to manage ambiguity
  • A team player with independent working capability and interpersonal skills
  • Good discipline with sense of urgency to meet commitments
  • Fluency in spoken / written English and Mandarin
