This role offers an exciting opportunity to utilise your sales expertise in a fast-paced environment, where you will be responsible for maintaining and growing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales growth. You will have the chance to work with a diverse range of clients and contribute significantly to the company's success. What you'll do:
As an Area Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving our client's business forward. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain and grow relationships with existing customers while also identifying and targeting potential new clients. You will be expected to record all relevant customer, competitor, and market information in the CRM system, as well as prepare and follow up on quotations and samples. In addition, you will negotiate pricing with customers, including contract negotiations, in agreement with the Managing Director. Your role will also involve collaborating with Product Management on price increases or changes in delivery volume when necessary. Furthermore, you will monitor the usage/fulfilling of bonus agreements and drive the strategy for sales growth for dedicated customers according to their classification.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Area Sales Manager position brings a wealth of professional experience in sales (5 – 10 years), along with excellent communication skills that enable them to build strong relationships with clients. They will have efficient time management and organisational skills, allowing them to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. The ability to work proactively on their own initiative is crucial for identifying new business opportunities. Confidence in making cold and warm calls is necessary for expanding the client base. Strong listening and presentation skills are important for understanding client needs and presenting solutions effectively. A basic technical knowledge and understanding of all polymer types and their application would be beneficial.
