Our client is seeking a Business Development Manager to join their team in Vietnam. This role is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a strong background in the Food & Beverage industry and a passion for business development and marketing. The successful candidate will be responsible for promotional activities, sales, and supporting tender preparation for the assigned sectors.

What you'll do:

As a Business Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the company's growth in Vietnam. Your responsibilities will include liaising with local distributors, developing and maintaining customer relationships, and identifying new opportunities. You will also be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of cost estimates and undertaking promotional activities. Your role will involve achieving targets for specific product groups and providing comprehensive details of product development needs to suit local markets. Developing sales strategies will also be a key part of your role.

  • Liaise with local distributors for Food & Beverage products
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships
  • Bring in new opportunities and validate enquiries
  • Ensure on-time delivery on preparing cost estimates
  • Undertake promotional/business development visits
  • Achieve target for the product or product groups
  • Provide comprehensive details of product development needs to suit the local market(s)
  • Develop sales strategy

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Business Development Manager position brings a wealth of experience in business development, marketing, sales, and technical applications within the Food & Beverage industry. You are fluent in both English and Vietnamese, have excellent customer relationship. You are known for your highly effective communication skills, leadership abilities, problem-solving acumen, and your ability to thrive in a team environment.

  • Prior experience working with customers on business development/ marketing/ sales and technical applications.
  • Good customer relationship skill.
  • Fluency in both English and Vietnamese language.
  • Knowledge of unit processes in F&B industries.
  • Highly effective communications and influencing skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to succeed in a matrix, team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, self-motivated, self-starter, sense of urgency, personable and well organized.
  • Problem solving and analytical skills.
