Sales Manager - Agrochemical

Our client is a global leader in the specialty chemical industry, with a presence world wide. They are currently seeking a Sales Manager for their Agrochemical division based in Vietnam. This role offers an exciting opportunity to promote and develop sales of the Agrochemicals product range, build relationships with key contacts and customers, and pursue opportunities to grow sales of existing and development products.

What you'll do:

As a Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in promoting the company's product range to achieve agreed business targets. You will be responsible for building strong relationships with key contacts and customers while seeking out opportunities to grow sales of existing products as well as those under development. Your role will also involve managing a diverse range of accounts within Vietnam, working closely with the Business Manager to identify additional opportunities. You will be tasked with securing new businesses, identifying potential suppliers, generating sales, maintaining data accuracy within CRM tools, understanding customer needs, conducting regular visits to accounts, and managing relationships at all levels.

  • Manage a set range of Accounts in Vietnam, further develop the existing customers and attract new ones in the Agrochemical market.
  • Work closely with the Business Manager, identifying any additional opportunities.
  • Secure and develop new businesses, identify and obtain new suppliers and product lines.
  • Generate sales and profitable margins by managing and expanding existing business and targeting and opening new business.
  • Ensure regular update of sales excellence tools [e.g. Customer Relationships Management CRM] and proper maintenance and accuracy of data.
  • Manage, develop and understand the needs of a growing customer base, making regular visits to these accounts to build, maintain and manage relationships with key contacts at all levels.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Sales Manager position brings along a minimum Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Chemical Engineering /Chemistry or other similar technical qualification. Experience in selling Agrochemicals related products would be considered an asset. A good command of English (both written and verbal) is essential for this role. You should have at least 5 years of progressive experience in sales, commercial or leadership roles. Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills are key to succeed in this role. The ability to liaise with people at all levels, both internally and externally, is crucial. Lastly, being a strong team player will help you thrive in our client's collaborative work environment.

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Chemical Engineering /Chemistry or other similar technical qualification is required.
