An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic Area Manager to join a leading global company. What you'll do:

As an Area Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the continued growth of sales and account operating profitability within your assigned territory. Your primary focus will be on achieving annual sales targets by working closely with various team members to establish effective selling strategies and tactics. You will also be responsible for developing, training, and leading a team of sales personnel within your assigned area. Your commitment to customer retention and satisfaction will be demonstrated through your excellent application of the Six Service Standards.

  • Achieve annual sales target for the assigned area by establishing selling strategy and tactics.
  • Serve as a role model in managing personal territory by selling and calling on existing as well as potential sales customers.
  • Focus on customer retention and improving customer satisfaction through excellence in application of the Six Service Standards and customer feedback surveys.
  • Document value offered and delivered to the customer in clear, financial terms.
  • Develop sales and service personnel by conducting the annual performance plan process, quarterly coaching trips with documented 90-day goals, informal coaching, and training.
  • Maintain good expense control of personnel within assigned area in accordance with the district budget.
  • Assist District Manager in conducting district sales meetings.
  • Support and commit to Quality Improvement Process and the guiding principles of Responsible Care®.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Area Manager position brings a wealth of experience in managing sales and service teams. With at least three years under your belt, you have honed your skills in technical sales and have an excellent track record to show for it. You hold a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or life sciences which equips you with the necessary technical knowledge required for this role. A valid driver's license is essential for this position.

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (chemical, mechanical, industrial) or life sciences (biology, chemistry).
  • At least 3 years of experience in managing sales and service team.
  • Excellent track record of technical sales.
  • Possess a valid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
  • Water treatment or specialty chemical industry experience (preferred).
  • Working knowledge of boilers, cooling towers, and wastewater treatment systems (preferred).
