What you'll do:

As a Business Development Manager based in Ho Chi Minh City with a focus on southern Vietnam, you’ll be at the heart of driving renewable energy investments forward.   • Source and develop exciting new investment opportunities in solar rooftop, solar farm, direct Power Purchase Agreements (dPPA), energy efficiency initiatives, battery energy storage systems (BESS), electric vehicle charging stations (EVCS), M&A projects, and other forward-thinking business ventures within the renewable energy sector.
  • Establish strong partnerships and foster collaboration across diverse industries for commercial and industrial projects, ensuring long-term value creation for all stakeholders involved.
  • Champion partnership efforts from initial concept through to successful completion—including analysis and negotiation of contract terms, strategic planning, pricing strategies, and diligent follow-up with customers and contractors.
  • Execute comprehensive business strategies and plans aimed at securing a robust pipeline of greenfield projects in renewable technology solutions such as rooftop solar installations, energy efficiency upgrades, and advanced storage systems.
  • Generate leads through account profiling, targeted marketing campaigns, business networking events, and other effective market penetration strategies designed to maximise project acquisition.
  • Qualify potential partner enterprises by developing strong relationships aligned with the organisation’s business strategy; create compelling proposals tailored to each organisation’s unique needs.
  • Identify key decision makers within target organisations; present solutions persuasively; negotiate terms; overcome challenges; and secure signed contracts that advance both parties’ interests.
  • Coordinate project development activities with internal teams—including legal, engineering, construction, and finance—and external parties as needed to prioritise deliverables and ensure milestones are achieved on time and within budget.
  • Represent the organisation at renewable energy events as a speaker or industry leader; nurture the company’s presence throughout Vietnam by establishing relationships at all levels of authority.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on project progress, key performance indicators, strategic insights; analyse market trends; conduct weekly meetings; monitor monthly/quarterly business plans; support team members during project cycles.
