Our client is seeking a strategic and experienced Head of Sales for the North and Central regions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a team of Area Sales Managers, drive sales growth, and build strong customer relationships in crop protection. The successful candidate will play a critical role in developing and executing sales strategies, analysing market trends, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets. This position requires extensive travel across the country.

What you'll do:

As the Head of Sales for North + Central regions, you will oversee the sales operations, leading a team of Area Sales Managers. Your role will involve developing and implementing effective sales strategies that align with company targets. You will monitor market trends, adjusting your tactics as necessary, while collaborating with the Marketing Team to plan and execute Sales Schemes. A significant part of your role will be building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients. You will conduct thorough market analysis to identify new business opportunities, prepare regular sales reports, and maintain a deep understanding of the agrochemical industry.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Head of Sales role brings over a decade of experience in agricultural product sales or related fields. You hold at least a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Business or a related field. Your strong leadership skills have been honed through managing teams effectively. You possess excellent communication skills which enable you to build strong relationships with key clients. Your strategic thinking ability is backed by a deep understanding of the agrochemical market. Furthermore, you are adept at analysing sales data and market trends.

  • 10+ years experience in sales of agriculture products or related fields
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Agriculture, Agronomy, Business, or a related field
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Strategic thinking with a deep understanding of the agrochemical market
  • Ability to analyze sales data and market trends
