Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Sales Manager for the Northern region. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and develop strategies for one of the most significant channels contributing to over 50% of the category. You will be at the forefront of understanding shopper behaviour, optimising their path to purchase, and translating innovation into actionable channel and customer approaches. This role requires a high level of commercial and business acumen, coupled with exceptional communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

What you'll do:
As a Regional Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our client's retail operations in the Northern region. Your deep understanding of shopper behaviour will drive your ability to optimise their path to purchase. You will connect different data resources to define actionable insights that will inform your strategic decisions. Working closely with the Commercial Development Manager, you will create a long-term strategy for category development, translating innovation into an actionable channel- and customer approach. Your responsibilities also include managing P&L of Channel and Distributors, developing strategies to grow the channel, and managing both direct & distributor partners.
- Understand what drives shoppers in the retail channel and optimise their path to purchase
- Connect different data resources to define actionable insights
- Participate actively in internal customer teams and cross-functional business teams by sharing trade marketing analyses and insights
- Create a long-term strategy for category development in close cooperation with the Commercial Development Manager
- Responsible for category and growth vision stories to create focus and alignment
- Manage P&L of Channel and Distributors
- Develop a strategy to further grow the channel
- Manage both direct & distributor partners to enhance and co-build the growth plan
What you bring:

- At least 5-7 years of experience in FMCG market within retail
- Experience with channel management is highly desirable
- Good team player and results-oriented individual
- Ability to manage under pressure, multi-task, prioritize workload, attention to detail, follow-through and follow-up skills
- Effective communication skills with the ability to engage with numerous stakeholders
- Comfortable working with multi-country or culturally diverse environments
- Highly independent and resourceful individual
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
- High level of Commercial & Business Acumen coupled with common sense
- Intermediate to Advanced Level of Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications
